Tribute's medium to large, firm fruit has made it most popular of the eastern day-neutrals. It is one of the most successful varieties in commercial plantings. During the first year, Tribute will peak in September and the next year will bring a heavy spring crop. Resistant to red stele and verticillium wilt.
These varieties bear two crops during the year at the beginning of the season (same as June bearing) and then late season towards late summer/fall. The combined harvest is almost equal in quantity to the single harvest of June bearers. Overall berry size tends to be somewhat smaller and generally is not as high in quality.
